Tarah Leigh’s love for photography started early, long before concert stages and festival crowds. As a kid, her first “models” were insects. (Ask her about the roly-poly story!) Curiosity for the tiny overlooked details of the world quickly grew into a lifelong passion behind the lens. Tarah started her concert photography journey back in 2004 when she snuck a camera into a Tesla show; this is the first of many wild examples of her dedication to capturing energy wherever it lives. Fast forward to today, Tarah is a published photographer and collaborates with multiple media outlets. She has been shooting for over two decades, bringing experience and a sharp creative eye to every project. While she is best known for her dynamic concert photography, Tarah’s work extends far beyond the stage. When she is not in a photo pit or backstage, you will find her immersed in nature, photographing insects, wildlife, and the intricate details often overlooked. She’s a passionate animal activist, a self-proclaimed bug enthusiast, and a lover of loud rock and metal music, though her playlists span across just about every genre. Whether it’s the raw energy of a live performance, the personality of a beloved pet, or the quiet detail of the natural world, Tarah brings authenticity and artistry to every shot.
